0.83cm x 0.76cm x 0.57cm. A magnificent and unique example of this highly prized rare gem species from Utah. While the red beryl crystals from the Wah Wah mountains are well known, the specimens from Thomas Range are much less common and seem to exhibit somewhat different morphology. This is a terrific single crystal from Thomas Range with glassy luster with razor-sharp details, gemmy clarity, and deep red color. This sharp, hexagonal crystal actually has a somewhat of a rosette-like appearance upon close examination, and there are some tiny intergrown hexagonal crystals.
