The cyanotrichite-included 'hematoid' calcite pockets are one of the rare finds from Tsumeb. Here is a group a clear calcite crystals showing a rhombohedral-dominant habit that display orange to reddish color due to microscopic cyanotrichite (fibrous red variety of cuprite) inclusions. There are also included dark green mottramite spots scattered over the calcite. Ex Albert Chenavier's collection (former works director for the Paris public transportation company RATP in the 70's), who purchased this specimen in 1978.
