A large classic example of rhodochrosite from this famed Japanese locale and a very beautiful example from the Japanese mines starting back in the 1800s and now rare. This is a gorgeous large display plate, with the display side of this specimen covered with botryoidal, slightly translucent, vivid colour rhodochrosite spheres. A dreamy showing of multi-hued, botryoidal strawberry pink interspersed with attractive lavender rhodochrosite.
