An impressive, old time example of native sulfur with celestine from this historic Italian locale. This specimen consists of what is, essentially, one huge, highly complex crystal of native sulfur partially enveloped in a blanket of tiny white celestine crystals. The sulfur exhibits intense yellow color with marked translucence throughout where the entire broad face of this specimen is a network of sharp, lustrous, crystal faces. Showy and impressive and overall in fantastic condition. This specimen is from the Cline family collection and retains its original label as well as an older, detailed label that notes the specimen was acquired in 1970 from Armand Jenkins in Brussels, Belgium. Gorgeous, old time material.
