Description: A gorgeous and sculptural gem indicolite tourmaline from the early 1990s finds at Pech. Most of the very glassy, well-striated crystal has beautiful teal-blue color. A water-clear light lavender zone underlies the etched and coated termination and the base is opaque dark purple. The bit of cleavelandite adds pizzaz to this striking trigonal crystal. Complete all-around. The back termination corner is bruised and a bit of edge wear on the front is noted. These are certainly only modest detractions to this outstanding tourmaline. Indicolites of this gem quality are RARE and desirable. 85 grams mass.
